Weekend Recipes

This past weekend was filled with friends and food!  I tried some new recipes, and made quite a few old favorites. 

Strawberry and Peach Sangria - I love sangria in the summer, and although I liked this recipe, I want to modify it a bit next time to make it taste less like a peach wine cooler. 



Black Bean Salsa - This is one of my favorite recipes to bring to a potluck because it's always a crowd-pleasing recipe.






Peach Crumble Bars - There was a peach theme because I found South Carolina peaches on sale last week.  I made this dessert for a group get-together because Chris and I don't need the calories associated with 24 bars.





Cheesy Chive Biscuits - Last week's CSA newsletter recommended making cheddar chive biscuits with the chives from last week's box.  That sounded like a great idea to me, and I was able to use up the co-jack cheese in our fridge.




Deconstructed Quinoa Black Bean Stuffed Peppers - This is one of our favorite recipes, and it uses spinach, which we got a lot of in our last CSA box!

  1. I can't wait to try your quinoa black bean stuffed peppers. I've made stuffed peppers a few times before but haven't found a recipe that's a "keeper" yet.
