Glorioso's Italian Market

My favorite speciality grocery store in Milwaukee is Glorioso's Italian Market.  They have every Italian grocery item you could possibly want.  I particularly like their ravioli that is made fresh and then frozen.  Yesterday, I bought asparagus ravioli for $4.79 ($1.20/serving) and topped it with fresh pesto that I made with basil also from Glorioso's.

They have a wide variety of frozen ravioli, and while I only picked up ones with vegetable fillings, I encouraged Chris to select some meat and seafood varieties since those aren't types that I would ever make at home.

Basil is so cheap at Glorioso's that I couldn't help but pick up five bags.  I made a huge batch of my spinach basil pesto recipe this afternoon, and now have enough stocked in the freezer to get us through spring.  I'm so looking forward to warmer weather and multiple basil plants growing on my patio this summer!
