{No Egg} Raw Cookie Dough

I often eat raw cookie dough, but have always feared getting salmonella poisoning from eating raw eggs.  Therefore, I loved the look of a blog post I came across tonight titled "cookie dough that's safe to eat." 
This recipe is delicious mixed with vanilla ice cream, dipped in chocolate or eaten straight up!

I recommend rolling the dough into 1-inch balls (using a small cookie scoop, if you have one), and then storing them in the freezer.

{No Egg} Raw Cookie Dough
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: N/A

Ingredients (makes 50 cookie balls)
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 4 tablespoons milk
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup mix-ins (such as: macadamia nuts, pecans, coconut, craisins, chocolate chips)
  • In a stand mixer bowl, beat butter, sugars, vanilla and milk. Add flour and salt, then mix until combined.
  • Add desired mix-ins. I like 1/3 cup unsweetened coconut and 1/3 cup chopped pecans.
  • I recommend rolling the dough into 1-inch balls and storing in the freezer.
